An ideal tool for siding, fencing, decking, roof sheathing, and more, the NV65AH has everything you need, including a high-capacity magazine, tool-less depth adjustment, a 360-degree exhaust diverter, and a pneumatic drive system. The NV64AH is a versatile nailer that's compatible with both wire- and plastic-coated collated fasteners. It features a high-capacity magazine that accepts up to 300 1-1/2-inch to 2-1/2-inch-long nail coils with 0.099-inch diameters. The nailer's air inlet is 3/8 inch, and the ideal operating air pressure is 70-120 psi.
For further flexibility and efficiency, the NV65AH has two firing options: intermittent and continuous. Intermittent firing lets you use the nailer's trigger to control firing, while continuous firing plants a nail each time the NV65AH's no-mar nose cap touches your workpiece--a great feature for covering large areas.
For further convenience, nail-depth adjustments are quick and easy. Just turn the depth-adjuster knob to flush mount or countersink nails and get the right depth for your application.
Air Deflector Adjusts Without Tools
The NV64AH features an adjustable air deflector that rotates 360 degrees to direct exhaust in any direction you choose. What's more, no tools are required to adjust the air deflector--simply turn the top cover to the desired position.

It was tough to spend the money on this tool but as soon as I got it it was as valued as my Hitachi framing gun. This tool has paid my bills and is now standard for any contractor's box, not just for siding and fencing. I've heard other brands are good but this is the one I chose and have no real complaints.
It is great for installing most types of siding, Hardi, Cedar, Pine, whatever. Also great for decking/sheathing though the nails are too small to be the same strength as a framing nail. There are many uses for such a small nail such as exterior trim (drip moulding, 1x fascia, etc.), but also for unexpected situations in remodelling when a framing nail is too big and a trim nail is too small.
Sets the nail perfect every time unless you hit a knot. Neither pin nor safety mars too badly. Easy to load and only jams if you forget to adjust the nail magazine depth or use cheap nails. Lightweight but the nails are small enough to prevent kickback. I put a 90 degree tool hangar on it and hang it from the ladder, rafters, whatever. Have shot several brands of nails without trouble but have heard it takes a different nail than the Duo-Fast.
My only complaint is that the nails sometimes deflect when shot at an angle. But this is due to the safety needing to be smooth instead of teethed like the framer. I would assume other siding nailers would do the same but have not used them.
I worked in Japan a couple months and this was the nailer they used more than any other. They use Makita and Max brands too.
