Customer Review: Perfect. Used it for 300 8" holes

I bought this 15/16" bit to drill 8" holes in my barn floor for pegs. I was drilling 3" of 200 year old hemlock boards and then about 5" of new pine floor joists. I hit an old nail on the second peg hole, and it scratched the bit of pretty good. However, the bit did manage to cut all 300 holes in my floor. I was using a Mikita drill and I think the drill suffered more on this operation than the bit. This was 1/2" the price of HD and they did not even have it in stock when I went. Amazon is great.
