Customer Review: Way too expensive for what you get.

I have several Hitachi tools . . all older, finely crafted, and MADE IN JAPAN. I called about this gun before ordering it, and was told it was a "Japanese tool", so thinking it was the quality of my Max and other Hitachi air tools, I ordered it. What I got was a decent quality generic floor nailer made by some generic manufacturer in China . . . nothing terrible, but definitely nothing special. Sent in back and, even though I had been given bad information about it, had to pay for return shipping (booh on Amazon). Went and bought a Made in the USA Portamatic that is significantly nicer, cost a little more, but is well worth the difference. If you want a decent generic Chinese floor nailer to do some work around your house, buy one of the others that Amazon sells for less money (really doesn't matter which one, they're all the same). If you want a professional tool that you can rely on, this is not it.
